The W-IE-NE-R crate remote control concept includes the monitoring
and remote access on all bin, power supply and fan tray parameters as:
- all voltages and currents
- temperature measurement inside of fan tray, power supply and
bin (optional)
- all status signals
- average and single speed of each fan, remote control of fan
speed
- over- and undervoltage trip-off points, current limits for
module test procedures
- remote on / off
- remote SYSRES (VME)
The crate remote control is based on the intelligent
micro-processor controlled fan tray unit which can be equipped with a plug-on
